How We Began

Every version of this had one problem in common: dresses that made you choose. Comfortable, or beautiful. Practical for everyday, or special enough for the photos you'd actually want to keep.

Belume started with a simple belief — you shouldn't have to choose.

We spent time looking at what was actually out there for expecting mothers, and kept landing on the same gap: plenty of comfortable basics, plenty of stunning photoshoot gowns, but almost nothing that treated both as equally important. Like comfort was for the ordinary days, and beauty was reserved for the extraordinary ones.

So we built a small, considered collection — soft, easy pieces for the everyday, alongside the dresses made for the moments you'll want to remember forever. Nothing extra. Nothing that doesn't earn its place.

This is still early days for us. But we're building it the way we'd want it built if we were the ones wearing it — with care, with attention, and with the belief that this season of your life deserves both comfort and beauty, at the same time.
